Colin has an extensive career working in the IT industry holding a number of national leadership roles supporting businesses across Australia. Colin has helped to drive the growth of these businesses and their customers through the implementation of major change projects related to IT.
Colin is employed by Datacom as General Manager of GovNext which is an initiative of the WA State Government Digital Strategy. Colin is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Colin was appointed to the WAITTA Board in September 2018 and has undertaken the WAITTA President role since November 2021. Colin is also the Board Sponsor of putt4dough (since February 2020), Chair of the Finance Committee and WAITTA Treasurer (October 2019 - January 2022).
Vice President & Game Changers Chair
Paul is a Change Manager with more than 25 years' experience in learning content development/curriculum and professional/leadership facilitator within education and training environments. Paul specialises in content development, technology integration and supporting education and other SMEs clients with successful on boarding of digital technologies.
As a leader/integrator of emerging technologies, Paul has a proven capability in managing key strategic projects focused on implementing change through leadership. He has a broad knowledge and relationship with schools/universities/professional service providers (both locally and nationally) and has successfully negotiated and delivered collaborative digital transformation projects across single and multi-site locations.
Paul was appointed to the WAITTA Board in November 2018 and is Vice President (since November 2021) and the Chair and Board Sponsor of WAITTA's Game Changer Awards (since January 2020).
Dan has ten years of experience within the aged care sector, with his most recent position as Chief Operating Officer at AutumnCare. Additionally, Dan has experience in transportation, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and local government.
Dan’s passion for the aged care industry led to a move into the not-for-profit sector, where Dan secured the Juniper position. An inspirational leader who focuses on efficiency through innovation, delivering Digital Transformation projects enables these businesses to utilise its unique competitive advantage.
Dan’s education includes a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), a graduate with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a First Class Bachelors of Computing Science with Honours.
Currently, a board member for Technology for Ageing and Disability WA (TADWA) allows Dan to contribute to the disability sector.
Dan was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in October 2021 and has undertaken the role of WAITTA Treasurer since July 2022.
Andrea is an industry specialist and has worked in ICT for over 20 years holding a number of senior leadership roles both in Government, not-for-profit and private sector.
Andrea is passionate in supporting individuals and business reach their full potential and has supported a number of charities in a volunteer capacity.
Andrea is a Senior Consultant for Datacom. Andrea has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business and a number of Risk and Governance Certificates.
Since joining WAITTA in 2018, Andrea has led the Board in the establishment of an organisation wide strategy and governance framework with designated roles to fulfill key functions. The Board currently meet on a monthly basis to review WAITTA events and programs.
Andrea was appointed to the WAITTA Board in September 2018 and was elected President in September 2018 until November 2021. Andrea has undertaken the Secretary role since November 2021.
Chris Marshall is an experienced information technology executive having worked for more than 45 years in a diverse range of organisations in mining, oil and gas, utilities, government, banking, and IT services. As CIO and Program Director, Chris has led multi-million-dollar programs and digital transformation initiatives.
In 2018, he received his Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Management.
Chris brings a great understanding of the benefits and business impact that technology can impress upon businesses, employees, and customers. He enjoys nurturing and coaching and being involved in IT industry forums to help the next generation of IT professionals deliver the latest in technology. And he loves innovation.
In 2010, Chris established the putt4dough IT charity event to raise funds for the Perth Children’s Hospital and provide a forum for the IT industry to network in a neutral and friendly setting which was taken over by WAITTA in 2020. Chris has been involved with Gamechangers in the past as well as many other associations and community groups over the years.
Con has over 20 years experience as management consultant working across Asia Pacific in a wide range of industries ranging from healthcare, mining and resources, oil and gas, government, software development and not for profit.
Con works at NEC as a national leader in the company's Business and Technology Advisory team. He provides organisations with operational and digital strategic thinking aligning technology investments with the corporate strategy.
He has a Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business. He is also a Member of the AIB Operations & Supply Chain Strategy Industry Panel at Australian Institute of Business.
Con was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in May 2022.
Gavin’s working career includes over 45 years in the Western Australian public sector with extensive experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), delivering services and outcomes across various government departments. Gavin is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society and has a Master of Business Systems. His most recent role was as a Director of Digital Transformation which encompassed transformation of online services to the community while increasing organisational effectiveness in service delivery.
With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership and executive capacity including his previous Director (Chief Information Officer) roles, Gavin’s responsibilities include team leadership along with strategy development and implementation plus program, budget, risk and change management. He is a positive and inclusive leader with a strong focus on developing and supporting his team.
Continuous learning and empowering others to support positive change for the benefit of clients and stakeholders is a key motivator for Gavin.
Gavin was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in October 2021.
Gloria is an experienced program manager and governance professional with more than 20 years experience within the not-for-profit, public and private health sector, in acute care but predominantly in aged care and the retirement living industry. Gloria has supported organisations in their change management program and deliver business process improvements while positively impacting organisational culture through the adoption of digital solutions.
Gloria is the Manager, Corporate Governance and Transformation for the Air Force Association WA Division (trading as RAAFA), a Retirement Living and Aged Care Provider. Gloria has a Bachelor of Science (Health Information Management), Master of Business Administration and Certificate in Governance and Risk Management.
Gloria was appointed to the WAITTA Board in January 2019 and was the WAITTA Secretary (February 2020 - November 2021).
Michael has worked within the IT industry for the last 20 years in predominantly technical and technical management roles, prior to his current role as Director of WA-based MSP Catalytic IT. The journey from small, to emerging MSP has been a particularly rewarding one, and their growth led to membership of the CRN Fast50 last financial year. Michael specialises in ICT Strategy, ICT Organisational reviews, and Wi-Fi design, analysis and troubleshooting.
Michael has been involved in a number of leading national and international digital transformations, most recently within the private education sector in WA.
Outside of his professional interests, Michael is a keen Toastmaster and Secretary of the Piara Waters Toastmaster chapter.
Michael holds a large number of technical certifications across Infrastructure, Cloud, Wireless and Security. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Management of IT, Finance) and is currently pursuing an MBA.
Michael was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in July 2021.
