Colin Janssen
Colin has an extensive career holding several national leadership roles supporting businesses across Australia with over 25 years in the ICT Industry. Colin has helped to drive the growth of these businesses and their customers through the implementation of major change projects related to IT.
Colin is employed by Datacom as Head of Strategic Panel Delivery (AU). Colin is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Appointed to the WAITTA Board in September 2018, Colin has taken on several roles within WAITTA. Initially taking on the role of Treasurer in October 2019, he drove several initiatives in reforming and implementing governance across WAITTA's financials. In 2020, Colin was instrumental in bringing putt4dough into the WAITTA suite of programs and has been its Board Sponsor since, now into its 3rd year of successful delivery. Colin has undertaken the WAITTA President role since November 2021.

Vice President
Gloria Davis
Gloria is an experienced program manager and governance professional with more than 20 years experience within the not-for-profit, public and private health sector, in acute care but predominantly in aged care and the retirement living industry. Gloria has supported organisations in their change management program and deliver business process improvements while positively impacting organisational culture through the adoption of digital solutions.
Gloria is the Manager, Corporate Governance and Transformation for the Air Force Association WA Division (trading as RAAFA), a Retirement Living and Aged Care Provider. Gloria has a Bachelor of Science (Health Information Management), Master of Business Administration and Certificate in Governance and Risk Management.
Gloria was appointed to the WAITTA Board in January 2019 and was the WAITTA Secretary (February 2020 - November 2021 and November 2022 - February 2023). Gloria has undertaken the WAITTA Vice President role since February 2023.

Treasurer
Peter Malaxos
Peter has over 30 years’ experience leading the delivery of large complex enterprise software integration and implementation projects in asset-intensive industries including mining, oil & gas and energy & utilities. His experience spans operational technology and information technology.
Peter has qualifications including Engineering (BE), an MBA and Doctor of Business Administration in Information Systems (coursework). Peter leads the Customer Success team at K2Fly, responsible for driving customer satisfaction by developing, implementing, and managing customer success initiatives, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding to ongoing support.
Peter was appointed to the WAITTA Board in August 2023 and has undertaken the WAITTA Treasurer role since August 2023.

Secretary
Gavin Bagley
Gavin’s working career includes over 45 years in the Western Australian public sector with extensive experience in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), delivering services and outcomes across various government departments. Gavin is a senior member of the Australian Computer Society and has a Master of Business Systems. His most recent role was as a Director of Digital Transformation which encompassed transformation of online services to the community while increasing organisational effectiveness in service delivery.
With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership and executive capacity including his previous Director (Chief Information Officer) roles, Gavin’s responsibilities include team leadership along with strategy development and implementation plus program, budget, risk and change management. He is a positive and inclusive leader with a strong focus on developing and supporting his team.
Continuous learning and empowering others to support positive change for the benefit of clients and stakeholders is a key motivator for Gavin.
Gavin was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in October 2021 and has undertaken the WAITTA Secretary role since February 2023.

Board Director & Game Changer Awards Chair
Michael Lester
Michael has worked within the IT industry for the last 20 years in predominantly technical and technical management roles, prior to his current role as Director of WA-based MSP Catalytic IT. Michael specialises in ICT Strategy, ICT Organisational reviews, and Wi-Fi design, analysis and troubleshooting.
Michael has been involved in a number of leading national and international digital transformations, most recently within the private education sector in WA.
Outside of his professional interests, Michael is a keen Toastmaster. Michael holds a large number of technical certifications across Infrastructure, Cloud, Wireless and Security. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Management of IT, Finance) and is currently pursuing an MBA.
Michael was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in July 2021 and Con undertaken the role of Game Changer Awards Chair since October 2022.

Board Director & INCITE Awards Chair
Con Polkinghorne
Con has over 20 years experience as management consultant working across Asia Pacific in a wide range of industries ranging from healthcare, mining and resources, oil and gas, government, software development and not for profit.
Con works at NEC as a national leader in the company's Business and Technology Advisory team. He provides organisations with operational and digital strategic thinking aligning technology investments with the corporate strategy.
He has a Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business. He is also a Member of the AIB Operations & Supply Chain Strategy Industry Panel at Australian Institute of Business.
Con was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in May 2022 and has undertaken the role of INCITE Awards Chair since October 2022.

Board Director
Dan Beeston
Dan has twelve years of experience in Technology within the aged care sector and has experience in transportation, manufacturing, hospitality, retail and local government. An inspirational leader who focuses on efficiency through innovation, delivering Digital Transformation projects enabling businesses to utilise their unique competitive advantage.
Dan’s education includes a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), a graduate with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and a First Class Bachelor of Computing Science with Honours.
Currently, a board member for Technology for Ageing and Disability WA (TADWA) allows Dan to contribute to the disability sector.
Dan was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in October 2021 and has undertaken the role of WAITTA Treasurer (July 2022 to August 2023).

Board Director
Hall Jackson
Hall is an educator and trainer with worldwide experience in both K-12 and adult learning. He helps educational and health organisations employ technologies to enhance student learning, improve health services and outcomes. Hall enjoys helping schools and health organisations to maximise their return on IT investment by making sure that the infrastructure, management, software, devices and staff training work together to make the technology effectively disappear, so teachers can focus on teaching and health staff can focus on their patients.
Hall was appointed to the WAITTA Board as Director in July 2023.

Her impressive track record is a testament to her proficiency in deploying data-driven strategies that amplify creative communications, elevate branding, and drive product innovation, all while optimising ROI through digital advancements. Notably, her adaptability shines across a diverse array of industries, encompassing finance, oil and gas, mining, government, and nonprofit sectors, across regions, from the UK and Europe to the Americas, Africa, and Australia.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Premila's profound commitment to community service and empowerment shines through her role as a judge for the Incite and Game Changer awards. This commitment has taken a more significant stride as she has embraced a new role on the WAITTA board.
