The Information Technology and Telecommunication industries swings for charity to raise funds for Perth Children's Hospital in WA.

putt4dough - IT Charity Golf Day

WAITTA has joined forces with Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and the generous IT Industry to raise much needed funds to ensure our sick kids and young people continue to receive world class paediatric care.

In 2020, WAITTA was announced as the new organiser of the annual IT Charity Golf Day, known throughout the IT industry as putt4dough.

Chris Marshall, putt4dough's founder, has been running the annual Golf event since 2010 and so far raising $439,000 in support of the children’s hospital.

The longevity and success of putt4dough over since its inception, including through tough economic periods is testament to the IT industry strongly uniting in aid of supporting a vital community cause – helping sick Western Australian children at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) to live their healthiest and happiest lives.

The basis of putt4dough has always been to encourage the industry to come together for a good cause as colleagues and industry friends alike, with the emphasis on ‘friendship’ and less on ‘competition’ - though, a bit of healthy competition on the golf course is encouraged!

The nature of this event promotes good business amongst the sector, and provides an important opportunity for industry professionals to network, raise vital funds and importantly, to have lots of fun throughout the day.

putt4dough will be held in November 2020 at Joondalup Resort.  Visit the website for further information and the prospectus.

Colin Janssen is the Board Sponsor for putt4dough.
